What is the “Virtual Spec P71 Racing Series”?
Once a year after the real cars are shut down for the last time, we hold an eSports championship in the racing simulation, Assetto Corsa, with our own custom made Spec P71 mod.
The idea behind the Virtual Spec P71 Racing Series is to allow fans and drivers worldwide to compete for the title in a wheel-to-wheel racing series utilizing a simulated version of the Spec P71 car that is accurate down to the very tread depth of the tires.
Throughout the year, drivers practice utilizing this mod in Assetto Corsa to become more acquainted with the tracks that they will be attending and only have a few laps per session to get their fastest time.
